General:

Trainer Dallas Beckett pleaded guilty to charge of improper conduct under the terms of GAR86(O) for striking a greyhound on two occasions following Race 8 on Wednesday 9th September in the vicinity of the catching pen whilst trying two separate greyhounds. Stewards fined Trainer Dallas Beckett the sum of $800.00 with $400.00 to be suspended for a period of 2 years pending no further breaches of this rule.

Race 1 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL MAIDEN 407m

 

2 Fat Lady Magic, was bumped heavily near the finish by another runner.

 

4 Maryburra Marvel, was slow into stride and checked off heels entering the back straight and checked off heels again approaching the home turn.

 

5 Atomic Mac, raced wide throughout.

 

6 Chief's Priority, shifted out abruptly near the finish colliding heavily with another greyhound. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be sore in the right hind quad and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

7 Slick Mac, was slow to begin and checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

8 Conquian, was checked and lost considerable ground in the back straight, finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a sore lumbar muscle and was stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 2 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE NOVICE 407m

 

2 He Flash, was checked heavily coming around the home corner.

 

3 Belly, shifted out coming around the home corner bumping heavily with another runner.

 

7 Shorts Small, checked off heels shortly after the start, finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.

 

Race 3 - ROCKY FEED & SEED MIXED 4/5 510m

 

1 Reveal, checked out off heels going around the first corner.

 

4 Dr. Braelyn, slow into stride and raced wide throughout.

 

 

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD MIXED 4/5 407m

 

3 Here Comes Pappa, raced wide for the majority.

 

6 Wise Decisions, was slow to begin.

 

7 Banjo Big Boy, was slow to begin and entering the back straight was checked heavily resulting in taking a heavy fall and finishing the race well back. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the front pads and was stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

8 Digger's Cove, was slow to begin.

 

Race 5 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

1 Rock On Roxy, was slow to begin.

 

4 Testing Speed, shifted out off heels approaching the first corner.

 

6 Birmingham Lass, was checked going around the first corner.

 

7 Velocity Zelmona, was slow to begin.

 

8 Sheza Code Blue, was slow to begin.

 

 

Race 6 - SANDAL WELDING GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

2 Kingsbrae Sasha, checked and lost ground going around the first corner. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no injuries were found.

 

8 Miss Maia, extremely slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

 

Race 7 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN MIXED 3/4 407m

 

1 Infrared, was slow away and shifted out wide on the first corner checking another greyhound, then raced wide for the remainder.

 

3 Johnny Harks, was slow to begin and was checked going around the first corner.

 

7 Over Time, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

Race 8 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND BEST 8 407m

 

2 Barcia Bullet, was slow into stride, then checked off heels and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

3 Remember Col, was checked coming around the home turn and then checked off heels entering the home straight.

 

4 Speed To Burn, checked and lost ground leaving the back straight and was checked coming around the home turn then checked off heels entering the home straight.

 

7 Elle Koda, was checked in the hind legs approaching the home turn then shifted out checking other runners.

6 Absolute Madness, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

7 Angry Juice, was slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

 

8 Package, checked entering the back straight.

 

Race 10 - TAB MA5 407m

 

4 Mon Manny Beach, was tightened coming around the home corner.

 

5 Speed Action, was hampered going around the first corner.

 

6 La Quinta, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

7 Miss Wildwest, was slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
