General:

Following the finish of Race 5 Stewards viewed the race replay in relation to the lure location when the start was effected. It was clearly shown on the replay that as the greyhounds were leaving the boxes the lure was positioned in line with the greyhounds.

However after watching the replay several times Stewards were satisfied that no runners were impeded and they all chased the lure with due commitment. Stewards notified all clear for the race on the judges semaphored numbers.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 407m

 

2 My Gal Pinky, raced wide for the majority.

 

5 Flying Marge, checked and lost considerable ground entering the back straight. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

6 Surprise Pocket, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

8 Pressure, very slow to begin.

 

9 I'm Sassy(4), checked going around the first turn.

 

 

Race 2 - SKY RACING NOVICE (1) 407m

 

4 Queen Norma, checked off a runner at the start, then shortly after shifted out and checked off another runner.

 

5 Nanny's Magic, checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

7 Suited It, checked and lost ground in the back straight.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Race 3 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE (2) 407m

 

2 What An Outcome, extremely slow to leave the boxes.

 

4 Paddy Hayze, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

7 Cyclone Jenny, commenced to drop out entering the home straight, finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

 

Race 4 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

1 Five Putt Cal, shifted out abruptly approaching the first turn and checked other runners. Bumped with another runner in the home straight.

 

3 Burner Express, bumped with another runner in the home straight.

 

4 Girls And Pearls, was checked heavily approaching the first turn resulting in taking a heavy fall and failing to finish the race. Was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

5 Erratic George, was checked approaching the first turn.

 

6 Exit Plan, checked heavily and lost ground approaching the first turn.

 

Race 5 - ROCKY FEED & SEED 0-3 WINS 510m

 

2 Big Time Money, slow away and shifted out abruptly going around the first turn.

 

3 Only The Lonely, checked out off heels approaching the second turn.

 

5 Nana's Gift, checked and lost ground going around the first turn. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and was found to be injured in the left carpus and as a result was stood down from racing for 10 days..

 

6 Amalfi Coast, checked and lost ground going around the first turn. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

8 Redeemer's Kid, slow away and checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

 

Race 6 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 4 407m

 

3 Swift Twitch, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

4 Just Law, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

5 Black Maxie, checked and lost ground going around the first turn and commenced to drop out in the back straight. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Race 7 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN BEST 8 407m

 

 

3 Angel Harks, slow away and was checked heavily going around the home turn.

 

4 Unique Speed, slow away.

 

7 Skilled, checked and lost ground going around the first turn and commenced to drop out in the back straight. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

8 Loco Dinero, going around the home turn shifted in and checked another runner.

 

 

Race 8 - AUSTRALIA DAY CUP FINAL OPEN 510m

 

7 Blue Jeans Talk, raced wide for the majority.

 

8 Prosecutor, slow to begin.

 

 

Race 9 - SANDAL WELDING MIXED 4/5 407m

 

2 Red Card Bob, slow away and was hampered coming around the home turn.

 

4 Hear Footsteps, checked and lost ground entering the back straight.

 

6 Merlin's Missile, received a bump entering the back straight and commenced to drop out in the back straight. Finished the race well back and as a result was sent for a post race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found.

 

 

Race 10 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

1 Hooper, raced wide for the majority.

 

3 My Bro Beach, was hampered approaching the first turn.

 

4 Dr. Braelyn, checked and lost ground approaching the first turn.

 

6 Velocity Kayla, slow away.

 

7 Uncharged, checked and lost ground in the back straight.

 

 

Race 11 – TAB MA5 407m

 

2 Digger's Cove, slow to begin.

 

3 Headliner, raced wide for the majority.

 

4 Slingshot Prince, slow to begin.

 

6 Special Speed, checked and lost ground going around the first turn.

 

7 Surreal, checked off hind legs leaving the back straight.
