Sensational Star – Checked around the first turn. Severely checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 4 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 407m

 

Dazzling Star – (Beaten favourite 5th) Checked racing into the first turn. Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Moonlit Dior - Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hip strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

 

Monaco sun - Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Let’s Win Mindee - Severely checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lumbar back strain and a 7 day stand down was issued.

 

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 0-4 WINS 510m

 

Guernsey King – Slow to begin. Shifted wider approaching the home turn and marred the running of Kingsbrae Smokey for a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound approaching the home turn and for a considerable distance thereafter. After considering submissions from trainer K Boody, viewing the available replays and acting on their own observations, stewards were satisfied that the greyhound had marred the running of Kingsbrae Smokey for a considerable distance and acting under GAR123 for a first offence was stood down for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

 

Kingsbrae Smokey – Checked for a considerable distance approaching the home turn and in the home straight when marred in running.

 

Race 6 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 4 (1) 407m

 

Sweet Valentine – (Beaten favourite 3rd) Gave ground over the final 100m after leading. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer D Beckett when queried explained that the greyhound performed in a similar manner at its most recent start and appears to be failing to run out the full distance of its recent races.

 

Race 7 - WENDY MULRY TRAVEL BEST 8 407m

 

Mia Miracle – Severely checked racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Sir Banjo - Checked noticeably racing around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 8 - DIPLOCK'S COLLISION REPAIR CENTRE FFA 510m

 

Tagavailoa – (Beaten favourite 4th) Slow to begin. Severely checked around the first turn before running on strongly over the final stages.

 

Educator - Severely checked around the first turn and trailed the field thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lumbar back strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

 

Race 9 - NEWSXPRESS RICHARDSON ROAD GRADE 4 (2) 407m

 

Grande Bahama – Checked around the first turn. Severely checked racing into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Gallifrey – Slow to begin. Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lumbar back strain and a 10 day stand down was issued.

Cosmo Sterling – Checked around the first turn. Dragged down from behind and checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 12 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 407m

 

Lektra Left – Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the left hind leg and a 10 day stand down was issued.
