Trainer D Beckett advised that Sweet Valentine, which had performed below expectations at its two most recent starts, had an underlying issue with planter warts, which have been treated and consequently the greyhound was scratched from this evenings meeting. |

Sipping Whiskey – Appeared to falter in its action racing off the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor strain to the left wrist and a 5 day stand down was issued. |

Blue Raptor – Checked from behind racing around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. Checked rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed strains to both hamstrings and a 10 day stand down was issued.
Stomp – Appeared to falter soon after the start and then trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. After interviewing trainer J Thompson and considering the performance of the greyhound stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory under GAR129(a) and Stomp has been stood down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial. |
