General: The stewards trial was declared a no trial after Floyd’s Fury turned back at the catching pen and ran back to the oncoming field. |

Chipped Penny – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound rounding the home turn and, in the home straight. After considering the available replays, their own observations and submissions from trainer P Sear, stewards were of the opinion that entering the home straight Chipped Penny turned its head inwards towards Tumbleweeds and deviated its attention from the lure for some distance. Under the provisions of GAR124(1) for failing to pursue the lure keenly throughout the race, the greyhound was stood down for 28 days at all tracks and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a second offence. |

Who Goes There – J Taylor acting on behalf of trainer D Taylor was reprimanded under GAR99 for failing to provide a catcher for the greyhound. In assessing penalty, stewards considered Mr Taylor’s clear record and the arranged catcher failed to attend as required. |

Due to the photo finish camera failing to operate the all-clear was delayed to allow stewards to be satisfied with the finishing order. After being able to satisfactorily place the field all clear was subsequently given.
Yuri Magic – Checked around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lacerations to the left hind leg and a 21 day stand down was issued.
Attorney At Law – Checked around the first turn and then trailed the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hock and a 60 day stand down was issued, and the greyhound must complete a veterinary clearance trial. |
