General:

 

·       Trainer Mick Boody was reminded of his obligations regarding non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code

 

·       Handler Ryan Pall was reminded of his obligations regarding non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code

 

 

 

Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION GRADE 6 407m

 

3. Tuta Interval - underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have  a nearside hind pad laceration and a 5 day stand down period was imposed

 

8. Diamantina Opal - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped in the catching pen. Under the provisions of GAR 130 the greyhound must complete a Satisfactory Stewards trial, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Race 3 - REGGIES PODCAST FFA 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY MIXED 4/5 510m

 

 1. Ruxton Flame – Checked entering the second turn and gave ground on the second turn and in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside front wrist injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

 

7. Sneaky Pete – Checked entering the second turn and collided with the running rail and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hip strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 5 - ROCKHAMPTON YOUNG GUNS FINAL OPEN 510m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 6 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

·       Due to a fallen runner regaining footing and running back towards the field in the opposite direction, stewards ordered the race to finish on lure

 

2. Blue Vista - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have  a nearside hind pad laceration and a 5 day stand down period was imposed

 

3. Barefoot Gypsy – Checked off runner and collided with the running rail and fell heavily entering the second turn. before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside front triceps strain, lumbar muscle strain & nearside hind spike wound. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

8. Feelin’ Dusty – Collided with fallen runner and fell heavily entering the second turn. Before regaining footing and ran in the wrong direction back towards the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside neck muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 7 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 8 - LOVE A GREYHOUND GRADE 4 407m

 

No matters of concern to stewards.

 

1. City Way - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have nearside & offside hind pad lacerations and no stand down period was imposed

 

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN MIXED 4/5 407m
