·       Due to ongoing concerns raised by trainers in relation to recent  pad & webbing injuries extra post-race veterinary checks were carried out.

Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION GRADE 6 407m

 

6. Disciplinarian - It was noted that the muzzle became dislodged during the running of the event.

 

Race 3 - REGGIES PODCAST MIXED 4/5 510m

 

8.Who Goes There – Checked soon after the start. Checked on hind entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside hind split webbing and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

 

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY 5PW 407m

 

3.Jester Beach – Checked off hind and disadvantaged on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside hind back muscle strain & abraded paw/webbing injury both hind  and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

7. Case Dismissed – A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside and offside split webbing and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.

 

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

4. Make Noise  – A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hind webbing abrasion and nearside split webbing with no stand down.

 

6. Honey Bunch – A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hind webbing abrasion with no stand down.

 

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

6. Wild Oates - A post-race veterinary examination revealed nearside hind split webbing with no stand down.

 

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

8. Radar Ripple  – A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside hind webbing abrasions with no stand down.

 

Race 8 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN MIXED 3/4 407m

 

6.Mo’at – Checked and tightened for racing room entering the second turn and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside leg injury under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next.
