Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (1) 407m

 

3. Franky Picasso – Dragged down from behind and fell heavily on the first turn before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside split webbing and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

4. Tip Alore Honey – Deviated attention from the lure towards another runner on the outside entering the front straight and, in the front, straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor webbing abrasion with no stand down issued. Steward’s spoke to trainer Amber Boody regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

7.Taree Ferrari – Tightened for  room and disadvantaged on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION MAIDEN (2) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 3 -REGGIES PODCAST GRADE 6 407m  

 

8. Unique Ability – Checked and lost footing entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 4 - BECKETT FAMILY FFA 407m

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

6.Out The Bottle – Stumbled and lost footing soon after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

7. Outlaw Ripple – Checked on the first turn. Faulted in its actions entering the back straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside hind triceps muscle tear and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MIXED 4/5 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND GRADE 4 407m

 

4. Bahama Blue – Dragged down from behind on the second turn. Checked and lost footing entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
