2. Beryl’s Pride – Checked soon after the start and took an awkward stride and gave ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a back muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. |

4. River Runs Dry – Tightened and checked, lost footing, and fell heavily on the first turn and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have a right front leg injury, the greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds. |

5. Lappin – Checked and disadvantaged by fallen runner on the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |
