1. Buckaroo – Tightened and checked on the first turn, lost footing faulted in its actions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hindleg injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next. |

7. Midnight Ranger – deviated attention from lure to inside runner in the front straight for several strides. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Andrew Suli regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
