General:

· Due to the QRIC veterinarian being delayed kennelling was extended and subsequently the starting time for race 1 was pushed back 10 minutes

Race 1 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN (1) 407m

5. Pounamu – Slow to Begin. Checked and collided with running rail entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

9. Cruising Cub – Checked and became unbalanced entering the front straight.

Race 2 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MAIDEN (2) 407m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 3 - REGGIES PODCAST GRADE 6 407m

5. Sunburnt Dawn – Lost footing and almost fell entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8. Velocity Sharri – Dragged down from behind on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 4 - LOVE A GREYHOUND MA5 407m

· Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

5. Topaz Blue – Checked and fell on the first turn, before regaining footing and completed the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 5 - SKY RACING 1-4 WINS HEAT 1 1-4 WINS 407m

5. Honey Bunch – Tightened and checked soon after the start. Faulted in its actions on the first turn and pulled up in the back straight and took no further part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right hind medial thigh muscle injury & severe bruising and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 6 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 1-4 WINS HEAT 2 1-4 WINS 407m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 7 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND 0-4 WINS 510m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 8 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 4 (1) 407m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

Race 9 - BECKETT FAMILY FFA 407m

3. Blakes John – Following an incident in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 10 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION GRADE 4 (2) 407m

2. Cambla Bliss – Checked and became unbalanced entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed left front wrist sprain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

3. Bargara Killian – Disadvantaged on the second turn.

Race 11 –DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL GRADE 5 407m  

2. Darts Night – Checked on the first turn. Took an awkward stride entering the back straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hind hip support muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 12 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MIXED 4/5 407m
