Race 1 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 407m

 

3. King’s Beach – Checked off heels and gave ground on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 - DYNAMIC REFRIGERATION GRADE 6 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 3 REGGIES PODCAST MIXED 1/2 407m -

 

2. Farmor Rogue – Checked, lost footing, and fell soon after the start before regaining footing and completed the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lower lumbar muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

Race 4 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 4 407m

 

6. Early Supper – Slow to Begin. Faulted in its actions entering the front straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Jeff Kuhl regarding the greyhound’s performance. After considering all available evidence, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory therefore invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory performance the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 5 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MIXED 3/4 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 6 - ROCKHAMPTON YOUNG GUNS HEAT 1 OPEN 407m

 

2. Next Black Jack - Stewards spoke to licensed handler Phillip Sear regarding the greyhound Next Black Jack and was issued a fine for $100.00 acting under GAR 156(f)(ii) for being negligent in that he presented the greyhound with the incorrect rug

 

 

4. Watego’s Beach – Deviated attention from lure towards runner on the inside and made muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed left hind hip support muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to handler Andrew Suli regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the front straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring. Mr Suli pleaded guilty to the breach and the greyhound was suspended for 28 days at Rockhampton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

 

Race 7 -ROCKHAMPTON YOUNG GUNS HEAT 2 OPEN 407m  

 

8. Dropping Gears – At the trainers request A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hind spike wound and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 8 - ROCKHAMPTON YOUNG GUNS HEAT 3 OPEN 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 9 - LOVE A GREYHOUND GRADE 5 (1) 407m

 

5. Spot On Betty – Tightened and checked entering the back straight. took an awkward stride on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right neck muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 - SKY RACING GRADE 5 (2) 407m

 

·       No matters of concern to stewards.

 

Race 11 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN GRADE 5 (3) 407m

 

2. Tommy Trouble – Took an awkward stride and became unbalanced entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a lower back muscle strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 12 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 (4) 407m

 

4. Any Reason – Checked on hind and dragged down in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed left hind haematoma and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
