8. Diamantina Pearl – Deviated attention towards runner on the outside and made muzzle contact entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Neville Jackson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) with 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next |

4. Exquisite – Checked soon after the start. Faulted in its actions in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a left hind leg injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a veterinary clearance trial prior to racing next. |
