Race 1 - BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 407m |

· Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track following severe storm activity and heavy rainfall in the area during kennelling and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing. |
|
|
|
|
|
1. Raffaela – Shortened stride and gave ground entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Jaunita Thompson regarding its performance nearing the end of the back straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129 and must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted |

7. Rip Tear Run – Checked and became unbalanced entering the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |

· The start was delayed by approximately 8 minute/s due to a breakage on the running rail during the preview.
|

|
4. Franky Picasso – checked entering the back straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right hind back muscle injury. and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days. |
