2. Smoke Stack – Visibly eased and deviated attention away from the lure on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Gary Cluse regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

7. Sober Meredith – Checked on the first turn and forced wider. And gave ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right wrist injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

1. Brick – Gave ground entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed right hind webbing injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
