General:

· Following a continuing rain event in the Rockhampton region the track was inspected by QRIC stewards on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday Morning and deemed as suitable for racing.

· Stewards spoke to the lure driver and starter regarding an error by both parties and reminded the lure driver no to pre-empt the start and wait until the light goes green before starting the lure.

Race 1 – BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 1 MAIDEN 407m

· No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 2 - BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 407m

1. Sunburnt Comet – Severely checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2. Brother Boris – Slow to begin.

4. Petite Rouge – Severely checked by another runner and became unbalanced rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8. Midnight Mila – Checked and dragged down rounding the second turn and fell before regaining footing and finishing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 3 – REGGIE'S PODCAST GRADE 6 407m

· No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 – DOWNLOAD THE BET DELUXE APP GRADE 5 (1) 407m

1. Venetian Blue – Slow to begin.

Race 5 – PLACE A SRM WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 5 (2) 407m

1. Nevermore – Checked of the hindquarters of another runner and dragged down from behind rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3. County Art – Dragged down from behind entering the back straight.

Race 6 - DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL FFA 407m

2. Hold The Gavel – Checked and dragged down losing momentum rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a back muscle soreness, and no stand down was required.  

7. Rocky Ride – Disadvantages when colliding with another runner rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 7 - BETDELUXE SAME RACE MULTI MIXED 3/4 407m

3. Sirius Todd – Serevely checked and lost balance entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7. Five Crowns – Shifted very wide entering the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 - DELUXE YOUR PUNTING OPEN 510m

· No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 9 - YOU'RE ON A WINNER WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 5 (3) 407m

· No matters of concern to stewards.

6. She’s Full On – Checked rounding the second turn.

Race 11 - OUR BETDELUXE TOKENS GRADE 5 (5) 407m

· Declaration of all clear was delayed allowing stewards to review the race replays to ensure no dogs were disadvantaged at the start when the lure began rolling before the green light was switched on.

2. Bella Matilda – Checked entering the back straight.

Race 12 - BONUS BACK TOKENS WITH BETDELUXE MA5 407m

· No matters of concern to stewards.
