· On Thursday 26^th March stewards concluded an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the scratching of the greyhounds

Stewards found Mr Ron Glover guilty of an offence and was charged under GAR 76(7) unacceptable reason for scratching

Race 1 – BETDELUXE TOKENS MAIDEN 407m

2. Nice Figure – Checked and dragged down rounding the second turn.

Race 2 – BONUS BACK TOKENS WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 6 407m

5. Couch Commentary – Bumped in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hip support muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down foe 7 days.

7. Cheeky Cambla – Bumped another runner in the back straight and home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left shoulder muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to Louise Cameron, the trainer of Cheeky Cambla regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Marring. Cheeky Cambla was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Rockhampton and must perform a Satisfactory trial.

Race 3 – BOOST YOUR ODDS WITH BETDELUXE MA5 (1) 407m

3. Velocity Kirrily – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to pin muscle and right hind split webbing and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to William Boon, the trainer of Velocity Kirrily regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(1) failing to pursue with injury. Velocity Kirrily was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Rockhampton and must perform a Satisfactory trial.

Race 4 – BETDELUXE APP MA5 (2) 407m

3. Jaggery – Checked leaving the back straight.

Race 5 – BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON MIXED 5/6 510m

2. Rolling Along – Faulted in its action leaving the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left hindleg muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial.

Race 6 – DOWNLOAD THE BET DELUXE APP GRADE 4 407m

· Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

4. Bargara Killian – Severely checked and fell before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5. Lissy’s Gem – Dragged down entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the lacerations to the left front and hindleg and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days.

Race 7 – PLACE A SRM WITH BETDELUXE FFA 407m

· No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 – BETDELUXE SAME RACE MULTI 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 407m

2. Apollo’s Sun – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the right hindleg and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 3 days.

Race 11 – BETDELUXE.COM.AU GRADE 5 407m

8. Diamantina Jade – Bumped entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left stopper and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory trial.
