General:

 In accordance with LR 22 Cooper Robins, Ron Glover, Ben Davey and Judd Naum was issued with a reprimand regarding the non-compliance with the Racing Queensland Dress Code.

5. Burnt Tangerine – Slow to begin.

Race 2 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 4/5 GRADE HEAT 1 MIXED 4/5 407m

Race 3 – DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 4/5 GRADE HEAT 2 MIXED 4/5 407m

Race 6 - DELUXE YOUR PUNTING OPEN 510m

2. Cubit Monelli – Checked entering first turn. Deviated its attention towards a runner on the inside and made muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Juanita Thompson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Marring. Cubit Monelli was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 7 - BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON WILDCARD FINAL OPEN 510m

1. Wyndra All Smoke – Checked entering the second turn. Checked and knocked off balance approaching the front straight. Checked and forced off balance in the front straight. Stewards spoke with trainer Mr Ken Boody regarding the greyhound entering the front straight. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt.  

Race 8 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 4/5 GRADE HEAT 4 MIXED 4/5 407m

2. Daysea’s Elvis – Checked entering the back straight and checked leaving the back straight.

3. Another Scrub – Checked entering the back straight and checked leaving the back straight.

7. Mustang Beach – Checked entering the back straight. Faulted in its action in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a groin injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN 4/5 GRADE HEAT 5 MIXED 4/5 407m

2. Farmor Rogue – Marred by another runner in the home straight.

7. Hennessy Gold – Deviated its attention from the lure and marred another runner on the outside in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to Travis Elson, the trainer of Hennessy Gold regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Marring. Hennessy Gold was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR127, before any future nomination will be accepted.
