Race 1 –BETDELUXE TOKENS MAIDEN 407m

2. Bouldy Bullet – Jumped up with the lids when the boxes opened

3. Farmor Mystic – (Beaten Favorite) Checked off the heels of another runner soon after the start. Tightened for racing room and disadvantaged in the back straight.

6. Velocity Miranda – Checked entering the front straight and deviated attention towards a runner on the outside and made muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside triceps muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer William Boon regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

4. Mizuki Flash – (Beaten Favorite) Checked on hind quarter on the first turn. Severely checked and forced wider losing ground in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
