5. Dream Train – Severley checked entering the back straight. Checked off the hind of another runner rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside foreleg triceps injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days. |

· All clear was delayed affording Stewards the opportunity to view the films in relation to the distance of the lure to the lead greyhound, after doing so Stewards were comfortable that no greyhound was affected and all clear was given on the judge’s numbers. |

· Stewards spoke to lure driver Mr Gary Moore regarding the distance of the lure to the lead greyhound in the back straight and reminded him of his obligation to watch the lead runners. |

Race 9 – YOU'RE ON A WINNER WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 5 407m |

1. Velocity Risk – Heavily bumped by another runner entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside foreleg triceps injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days. |
|
|
|
2. Rupee Ranger – Deviated its attention away from the lure entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Christine Pollard, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR124 Failing to pursue. Rupee Ranger was suspended for 28 days at Rockhampton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted. |
