Race 1 – BETDELUXE TOKENS MAIDEN 407m

1. Yallop Hayze – Deviated its attention towards another runner on the second turn, making muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg whip muscle and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Tracey Trigg regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (first offence) – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing.

2. Velocity Miranda – Tightened and checked for racing room rounding the second turn.

Race 2 – BONUS BACK TOKENS WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 6 407m

1. Strolling Along – Dragged down rounding the second turn.

Race 3 – BOOST YOUR ODDS WITH BETDELUXE MA5 (1) 407m

5. Rocky Ride – Checked and dragged down in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside back muscle strain and a nearside foreleg triceps muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 5 days.

2. Indy Pace Car – Checked entering the home straight.

Race 5 – BETDELUXE ROCKHAMPTON PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 407m

Boonie’s Baby – Tightened and checked rounding the first turn.

3. Federal Tommy – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination per trainer’s request and found an offside hindleg toe dislocation. A 60 day stand down period was imposed and a veterinary clearance trial.

6. Hara’s Debbie – Checked entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside and offside gracilis muscle and the offside hindleg quadriceps and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 21 days.
