4. Court Action – Checked soon after the start, disadvantaged on the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 – ROCKHAMPTON MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 407m

7. Rosa’s Sunset – Faltered in its actions in the back straight and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside front triceps strain and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days

7.Turtle Time – Severely checked off hind of another runner in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

6.Akela Kung Fu – Faltered in its actions soon after the start and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed offside and nearside groin strains and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days

Race 7 – DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL 1-3 WINS 407m

· No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 8 –BETDELUXE SAME RACE MULTI MIXED 3/4 407m

1. Fast Freddy – Deviated attention from the lure towards the outside runner but did not make muzzle contact in the front straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a neck and shoulder muscle injury as well as abrasions on nearside front foot and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Andrew Suli regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the front straight. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s  trial prior to returning to racing.
