1. Denied Bail – Checked and propped, off the runner in front and was severely disadvantaged entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. |
|
|
|
8. Regarding Henry – Checked and forced wider entering the back straight. Dragged down by runner behind falling heavily before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed poor recovery and nearside hind abrasions with no stand down issued. |
|
|
|
Race 2 – BONUS BACK TOKENS WITH BETDELUXE GRADE 6 407m |
|
|
|
Stewards spoke to Christine Pollard regarding an incident in the parading area with the greyhound Canya Azure presented in the number 6 rug instead of the number 7 and was issued a fine acting under GAR 156(f)(ii) for being negligent in that she presented the greyhound with the incorrect rug. |

1.Jalepeno Popper – Gave ground entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hip support muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. |
