4. Carol Rain – Deviated attention towards runner on the outside entering the front straight, and in the front straight on the second occasion, however Stewards deemed there was no muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Darren Taylor regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
