6. Tijuana Twinkle – Checked entering the back straight. Visibly eased before the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ken Boody regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (first offence) – The greyhound is stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial. |

Race 7 – PLACE A SRM WITH BETDELUXE FFA 407m |
|
|
|
Due to a starter error the boxes failed to open at the first attempt, and as a result all greyhounds were removed from the starting boxes, and returned to the marshalling area to undergo veterinary examinations. All greyhounds were cleared to race, and the remaining races were put back one time slot with the finial event to be run at 10:20pm. |
|

2. Fast Freddy – Deviated its attention away from the lure and towards a runner to its outside rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Andrew Suli regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (second offence) – The greyhound is stood down for 28 days at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial. |

3. Edgewood – Late scratching at 9:18pm on the advice of the on–track veterinarian GAR 92(2) due to nearside front leg injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Christine Pollard was advised that a veterinary clearance is required. |
