4. Cosmo Charlie – Checked and fell before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside gracilis muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days.

7. Eye Of Fire – Checked entering the back straight. Checked rounding the second turn.

Race 2 – BETDELUXE TOKENS GRADE 6 407m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 3 – BETDELUXE SAME RACE MULTI GRADE 5 407m

1. Sweet Nancy – Checked rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside gracilis muscle injury and a nearside pin muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days.

4. Aston Millicent – Deviated its attention away from the lure in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside biceps injury and a nearside pencil muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Errol Kleinhans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue with injury – the greyhound was stood down for 7 days at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial.
