2. Bargara Killian – Deviated its attention away from the lure towards the runner to its outside in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 3 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Jeff Kuhl regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (first offence) – The greyhound was stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
