Sunshine Scrub – Deviated its attention away from the lure and visibly eased in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to the nearside hind thigh, and no stand down was issued. Steward’s spoke to trainer Travis Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue (first offence) – the greyhound was stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing. |

7. Cody Star – Beaten favourite – Severely checked and knocked off balance in the back straight. Bumped with Vanilla Slice in the home straight. Following an incident in the catching pen a post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hamstring injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 7 days. |

2. Petite Miss – Deviated its attention away from the lure and made muzzle contact with Velocity Ziggy in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside hamstring injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer David Raines regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (first offence) – the greyhound was stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing. |

7. Cangrande – Tightened and severely checked losing balance and fell before regaining footing and completing the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a nearside monkey muscle injury and under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down from racing for 10 days. |
