The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 3 MAYWYN OODLES Failure to Pursue + injury, off side wrist, 10 days +
satisfactory stewards’ trial 380m all tracks
FAWN DRAGON was best to begin. OCTAVIAN was slowly away. Soon after jumping RAVIN’ MAGIC and KNOCKIN’ BLUE both lost ground when tightened between runners. In the back straight IN THE DOCK shifted in checking the running of SWEET TALKIN GAL. RAVIN’ MAGIC which was following was also inconvenienced losing further ground. Approaching the top turn SWEET TALKIN GAL lost ground when tightened for running to the inside of KNOCKIN’ BLUE. Through the top turn OCTAVIAN lost ground after improving onto the heels of BON ECHO. JESSICA’S MONEY and FAWN DRAGON came together at the home turn. Both greyhounds were unbalanced.
The greyhound FAWN DRAGON was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Even start. Soon after jumping BEHM lost ground when tightened between runners. Through the back straight I’M ALICE shifted in tightening the running of RUBY’S MAGIC and RHONDA’S DYNO which both lost ground. Approaching the top turn ASA TOP AGENT shifted in severely checking the running of BRUTON MISS and I’M ALICE. I’M ALICE lost significant ground in this incident. EBONY SPECIAL was wide for the majority of the event.
The greyhound RHONDA’S DYNO was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
The greyhound I’M ALICE was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 3 – 5th
Grade 380m
WILDASH DUKE was best to begin. MAYWYN’S
ACE was slowly into stride. Soon after
jumping GOLDEN FIST, NANIERNA and MAYWYN OODLES all lost ground when tightened
between runners. Soon after NANIERNA was
severely checked losing further ground. Approaching
the top turn MAYWYN’S ACE was severely checked shifting out abruptly onto the
running of ZIPPING CARLTON and GOLDEN FIST which were also severely checked. All 3 greyhounds took no further competitive
part in the event from this point. MAYWYN
OODLES and WILDASH DUKE were racing tight and bumping through the home turn. Both greyhounds were unbalanced. Soon after straightening MAYWYN OODLES turned
its head out towards WILDASH DUKE and in doing so failed to pursue the lure
with due commitment.
The greyhound MAYWYN OODLES was vetted post race and was found to have sustained an off side wrist injury. Trainer Mr. M Fusco was advised that the greyhound MAYWYN OODLES would be charged under the provisions of GAR69A Failure to pursue by reason of injury and would be stood down for a period of 10 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 380m all tracks.
The greyhound GOLDEN FIST was vetted post race, and was found to have sustained an off side fore foot injury in running, and was stood down for a period of 28 days.
The greyhound MAYWYN’S ACE was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 380m
FREDRIK was best to begin. MID
WESTERN GIRL, ZOEY’S FRIEND and ASA ENSEE FLY all dwelt at the start. Through the back straight ZOEY’S FRIEND
appeared to brush the running rail losing momentum and significant ground. Approaching the top turn FREDRIK shifted in
onto the running of MID WESTERN GIRL which was severely checked and fell taking
no further competitive part in the event. VELOCITY AIM which was following was also
checked.
The greyhound MID WESTERN GIRL was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
The greyhound ZOEY’S FRIEND was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 5 – 4th
Grade 380m
ELLIE’S VOLUNTAS, COSMIC PAULY and DEBORAH ROSE all began well. ZAYRAH and FEAR ANDY were both slowly into
stride. Through the back straight
BLUEFIRE CHALICE shifted out abruptly after improving onto the heels of ELLIE’S
VOLUNTAS. Approaching the top turn
BRIGHT REBEL improved onto the heels of ELLIE’S VOLUNTAS dragging that
greyhound down from behind. ZAYRAH and FEAR ANDY which were following were both
severely checked. FEAR ANDY fell and
took no further competitive part in the event.
The greyhound FEAR ANDY was vetted post race and no abnormalities were revealed.
Race 6 – 3/4th
Grade 380m
MOO MOO was best to begin. MAGIC CHAOS, SNEAKIN’ ROUND and ALL BUT CENTRE all dwelt at the start. Approaching the top turn COSMIC FREEZE shifted in checking the running of LIBERTY LEGS which lost ground. RAZOR ROSE and SNEAKIN’ ROUND were both wide at the home turn. Soon after straightening RAZOR ROSE shifted out onto the running of SNEAKIN’ ROUND which was inconvenienced.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 498m
SCORPIO JAY dwelt at the start. Soon after the start ASA EXTREME lost ground when tightened between runners. ELUSIVE DIVA and DAY DRINKING were both checked when tightened for running through the catching pen. ASA EXTREME and PATJACK LOMAR were both wide in the back straight.
Race 8 – Best 8 380m
VAPOUR FLIGHT was best to begin. Soon after the start BOOTYDO lost ground when tightened between runners. Approaching the top turn WHERE’S BLOCKER shifted in checking the running of EUNICE LILLIAN. Soon after PHOTO BOOTH shifted in severely checking the running of SINDARYN and VAPOUR FLIGHT both of which lost significant ground.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 380m
MAYWYN WEALTH, JACOBITE PHANTOM and VELOCITY ONO all began well. CAPTAIN LONESTAR and HASEGAWA were both slowly into stride. ZIPPIG BUBBA raced wide into the top turn. JACBITE PHANTOM was wide on straightening.
Race 10 – Masters 380m
WINSOME TOMMY and PRIVATE TALK both began well. VELOCITY KYZON and MISTIFIDE were both slowly into stride. Approaching the top turn PRIVATE TALK was inconvenienced after shifting in across the heels of COOL SPRITE. WIND TRACKER and ELKINGTON both raced wide through the top turn.
