The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 1 RAVIN’ MAGIC

The greyhound BAILINATOR performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.81 and is now cleared to nominate at all tracks.
The greyhound BARNIE BOUCHEAU performed a satisfactory Stewards Trial over the distance of 380m in a time of 22.40 and is now cleared to nominate at all tracks.
CHIEF START was best to begin. RAVIN’ MAGIC dwelt at the start. Soon after jumping GUNNADOO COBRA shifted in abruptly onto the running of RAVIN’ MAGIC which was checked severely and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. Approaching the top turn FLASH MURRI improved onto the heels of JESSICA’S MONEY. Both greyhounds were severely checked. FLASH MURRI lost significant ground.

The start of this event was delayed to enable lure repairs to be carried out.
RAIL GUN and KNOCKIN’ BLUE were both slowly away. Through the back straight CRACKLIN’ ROSIE shifted in severely checking the running of PETITE MAGIC which lost significant ground. Approaching the top turn COMMANCHE and WHERE’S DINO when racing tight appeared to become unbalanced. Both greyhounds lost momentum and significant ground.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 380m
The start of this event was delayed to enable lure repairs to be carried out.
OCTAVIAN was slowly away. Through the back straight VELOCITY HEZZA and IMA WANTED both lost ground when tightened between runners. Through the top turn OCTAVIAN shifted in checking the running of IMA WANTED and VELOCITY HEZZA. ABRAHAM KEEPING and TINK ALLEN were both wide at the home turn.
Race 4 – Novice 380m
The start of this event was delayed to enable lure repairs to be carried out.
HOLIER THAN THOU and VELOCITY AIM both began well. BON ECHO was slowly away. Through the back straight ASA TOP AGENT
shifted out checking the running of RHONDA’S DYNO and RUBY MAGIC. Through the top turn VELOCITY AIM shifted in
checking the running of HOLIER THAN THOU. RUBY’S MAGIC which was following was also
inconvenienced. EBONY SPECIAL was wide throughout.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade 380m
Stewards declared this event “No Race” after the leading greyhounds caught the lure when it failed at the top turn.
As track staff were unable to effect repairs to the lure system to ensure safe and reliable racing to continue Stewards had no option but to abandon Races 6 to 10.
