General:

Trainer G.R. Thomson was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting NOT THE NORM to race with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing.  Subsequently NOT THE NORM was a late scratching from Race 2.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN (1) 380m

2 Mali's Cookie – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Shifted out to raced wide entering the front straight.

3 Sharayu – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 Massive Bang – Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MAIDEN (2) 380m

2 King Kiash – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Joseph Bardy – Slow to begin.

4 Flying Blind – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

5 Flat Tyre – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 Mali's Torpedo – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

Race 3 - ANGLISS MEATS NOVICE (1) 380m

1 Emma Moo Moo – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Cryptic Diamond – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Zipping Red – Lost ground in the back straight tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Subsequently Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 71 stood Zipping Red down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance.  The trainer advised Stewards that it was his intention to retire the greyhound.

8 Plain And Simple – Bumped by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 4 - JUST PERFECT KITCHENS NOVICE (2) 380m

3 Henryk Bale – Checked from behind by another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Rush For Roses – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

9 I'm Not Barry (1) – Checked off heels on the turn out of the back straight.

10 Abandon (5) – Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

Race 5 - JACK LYNCH GRADE 5 (1) 380m

2 Polly's Magic – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

3 Smirky Sandra – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

4 Epiphany – Forced wide on the turn into the front straight.

5 Big Pikachu – Shifted out forcing another runner wide on the turn into the front straight.  Tightened for racing room prior to the finish.

6 Broken Halos – Raced wide in the front straight.

Race 6 - TESTEL TOWNSVILLE 3/4 GRADE HEAT 1 MIXED 3/4 380m

2 Sketchy A Bit – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

6 Majestic Diva – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 7 - WEE WIN KENNELS FFA 498m

2 Georgio Bale – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

3 Crackerjack Joey – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Mali's Rocket – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.  Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

5 Stratford – Raced wide in the front straight.

6 Inconsequential – Checked off another runner prior to entering the back straight.

Race 8 - QLD BRED 4/5 GRADE FINAL MIXED 4/5 498m

5 Mali's Bullet – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight

6 Bubbles And Brie – Raced wide into the front straight.

9 Twenty Dollars (8) – Raced wide in the front straight.

Race 9 - KEYFLO 3/4 GRADE HEAT 2 MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Carrow Road – Slow to begin.

2 Causing Drama – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

5 Mickey Two Rums – Marginally slow to begin.

Race 10 - MCP RACING 3/4 GRADE HEAT 3 MIXED 3/4 380m

1 FIREFLY STAR – Slow to begin.  Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

2 RUM AND HUSTLE – Checked off another runner approaching the turn out of the back straight.

3 WYNBURN CRUZ – Slow to begin.  Bumped another runner and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.

4 JOHNNY DARK – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

6 WHAT A BOMBER – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

8 QUINN BALE – Checked across heels entering the front straight.

Race 11 - GREG & DONNA BROCKING GRADE 5 (2) 380m

1 Lucky Express – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2 Rev Up Zeus – Was a late scratching at kennelling on veterinary advice.

3 On The Buses – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Bumped another runner and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.

4 Dyna Waqa – Bumped another runner and became unbalanced on the turn into the front straight.

8 Keith – Slow to begin.

Race 12 - T & T BUILDING SERVICES GRADE 5 (3) 380m

1 Rocket Jax – Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

2 Loose Wire – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

4 Mighty Option – Slow to begin.

5 Rob's Gift – Slow to begin.

7 What Expiry – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

8 Bemused – Checked off another runner after tuning out of the back straight.
