General:

Trainer P. Smith was fined $100 under the provisions of GAR 39.3 for presenting ALL IMAGE to race in race 4 with a weight variation outside the requirements of the Rules of Greyhound Racing. Subsequently ALL IMAGE was a late scratching from the race.

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 380m

1 Return To Me – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a strain to the off bicep and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2 Massive Bang – Raced wide into the front straight.

3 Joshua's Magic – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight. Raced wide in the front straight.

4 Mali's Torpedo – Tightened for racing room in the back straight. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Mali's Cookie – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

6 May Do – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Lady Dalphine – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUNDS NOVICE 380m

1 Above Ability – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Plain And Simple – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

4 Walkin' Millie – Slow to begin. Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 Emma Moo Moo – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

8 Aston Fabre – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 3 - ANGLISS MEATS GRADE 5 380m

1 Rob's Gift – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 Mighty Option – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 One Job – Marginally slow to begin.

6 Astor – Checked from behind by another runner, tailed off to finish a distant last. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a tear to the off bicep and was stood down for a period of 10 days

8 Cawbourne Blaze – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

9 Mejorar (4) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 4 - ORGANIC SOLUTIONS AUSTRALIA 0-2 WINS 498m

1 I'm Not Barry – Raced wide in the front straight.

3 Abandon – Raced wide in the front straight.

6 Highly Rated – Raced wide in the front straight.

8 Rush For Roses – Lost ground prior to entering the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Subsequently, Stewards Acting under the provisions of GAR71 stood Rush for Roses down from racing, for a unsatisfactory performance, until the completion of a satisfactory trial. The trainer advised Stewards that the greyhound would be retired.

Race 5 - ARTHUR MCMAHON TRAINING 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 498m

1 Zone In – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

2 Saltarello – Bumped and checked off another runner entering the front straight.

3 Savannah Sun – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

4 Sketchy A Bit – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

5 Georgio Bale – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

6 Salaam – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

7 Henryk Bale – Bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight. Checked off another runner and fell entering the front straight. Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

8 No Regrets – Checked off another runner on the tun into the back straight. Checked off heels and bumped another runner on the turn into the front straight.

Race 6 - BOHLE ICE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 498m

4 Scarify – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

5 Mr. Changretta – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

8 Lektra Midnight – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

Race 7 - HAROLD HOVI BEST 8 380m

1 Taking The Town – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 8 - PREMIUM GLASS FENCING 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 498m

1 Magnolia Wind – Raced wide into the front straight.

3 Yellow Heart – Was a late scratching at 09.05 on veterinary advice.

6 Take Your Shot – Checked off another runner and fell on the turn out of the back straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near front toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
