General:

Trainer G. Olsen was fined $200 under the provisions of GAR23.7 for scratching Twenty Dollars from Race 9 for reasons the Stewards deemed to be unacceptable.

Race 1 – TAB MAIDEN 380m

1 Mali's Cookie – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

3 Mali's Here Blue – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Interfered with by another runner on the turn into the front straight.

5 Joshua's Magic – Checked off another runner in the back straight.  Shifted out interfering with another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Subsequently Stewards questioned the racing manner of the greyhound.  After reviewing the film of the race Joshua’s Magic was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69.1 for a period of 28 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for marring another runner.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

9 Dashing Cosmos (6) – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.

Race 2 - GARRARDS HORSE & HOUNDS NOVICE 380m

1 Joseph Bardy – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

2 Windaroo Tavern – Slow into stride as the start was affected.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the off elbow and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

3 Mali's Pass - Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

5 Aston Fabre - Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

7 Cheerful Heart – Raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

10 Aston Rupiah (8) - Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

Race 3 - ANGLISS MEATS GRADE 5 (1) 380m

1 Astor – Knuckled over and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

2 Cornholio – Raced wide into the front straight.

6 Winter Ghost – Raced wide into the front straight.

8 Burning Ella – Slow to begin.

9 Friendly Shadows (3) – Slow to begin.

Race 4 - ORGANIC SOLUTIONS AUSTRALIA MIXED 4/5 380m

3 Reign Hail Shine – Marginally slow to begin.

4 Salaam – Checked off another runner in the back straight.

1 Cult Hero – Raced wide in the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.

2 John Strachin – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.  Raced wide in the front straight.

4 Awesome Alex – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

7 My Bro Benji – Raced wide in the front straight.

Race 6 - BOHLE ICE 4/5 GRADE FINAL MIXED 4/5 380m

6 Old Station Star – Slow to begin.  Tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

1 Lektra Midnight – Slow to begin.

2 Xericom Bale – Checked off another runner on the turn into the front straight.

3 Turn The Key – Checked by another runner on the turn into the front straight.
