Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN 380m

 

1 Gordon – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

3 Finch's Finch – Slow to begin.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

4 Cheeky Merlot – Slow to begin.  Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Shifted out to race wide entering the front straight.

 

5 Run Over Freddy – Marginally slow to begin.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

 

Race 2 - JUST PERFECT KITCHENS NOVICE 380m

 

5 Semper – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

6 Gypsy Tenille – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Tailed off to finish a distant last.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a near front muscle strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

8 Wolf Hall – Slow to begin.

 

 

Race 3 - INGHAM ROAD SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

6 Florida Quay – Bumped and checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

8 Happy Hornet – Shifted in across heels bumping another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 4 - PUGWASH PAINTING MIXED 4/5 380m

 

3 Aston Galahad – Slow to begin.

 

4 Urana Shelby – Slow to begin.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

5 Flat Tyre – Tightened for racing room entering the front straight.

 

 

Race 5 - HUNNY POT NQ OPEN 643m

 

1 Bago Dry - Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

3 Copper Canyon – Tightened for racing room in the front straight on the first occasion.  Shifted out forcing another runner wide on the turn out of the front straight.

 

4 Jazz Party – Checked across heels shortly after the start.  Bumped another runner and became unbalanced on the turn out of the front straight.

 

6 My Envy – Slow to begin.  Forced wide by another runner on the turn out of the front straight.  Raced wide into the front straight.

 

7 Swift Sharni – Slow to begin.  Bumped another runner and became unbalanced on the turn out of the front straight.

 

 

Race 6 - BELFORD KENNELS BEST 8 380m

 

2 My Bro Benji – Slow to begin.

 

3 Emma Moo Moo - Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

7 Winter Ghost – Tightened for racing room in the back straight.  Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

8 Jungle Fever – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 7 - HAROLD & DESMA HOVI GRADE 5 498m

 

2 Don't Change – Checked across heels and bumped another runner entering the back straight.

 

6 Masters On Metro – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

8 Endless Ability – Bumped and checked by another runner entering the back straight.

 

 

Race 8 - VERSATILITY FINAL GRADE 5 498m

 

5 Jay Jay Kersey – Lost ground sharply prior to entering the back straight.  Checked off another runner prior to the turn out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular prior to entering the back straight.  After viewing the film and taking evidence from the trainer, Jay Jay Kersey was stood down from racing for a period of 28 days and a satisfactory trial under the provisions of GAR69 A for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

 

6 Cryptic Diamond – Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.

 

7 Miss Rascal – Tightened for racing room shortly after the start.  Checked off another runner after turning out of the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular the turn into the back straight.  After reviewing the film and taking evidence from the trainer, Miss Rascal was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69A for 28 days and a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.

 

8 Fulton – Checked off another runner entering the back straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a right hind muscle strain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.  Stewards questioned the racing manners of the greyhound, in particular the back straight.    After reviewing the film and taking evidence from the trainer. Fulton was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 69B for 10 days and the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure with injury.

 

9 Emma May (4) – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 9 - #JCOOL AIRCONDITIONING FFA 498m

 

5 Miss Verity – Checked off another runner on the turn into the back straight.

 

 

Race 10 - MAGIC CARPET CLEANING & RESTORATION MIXED 3/4 380m

 

1 Rumble Rose – Tightened for racing room on the turn out of the back straight.  Checked off heels on the turn into the front straight.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

2 Velocity Caligo – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

4 Rev Up Zeus – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.

 

 

Race 11 - BURDEKIN VET CLINIC GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

2 Burning Ella – Slow to begin.  Raced wide in the front straight.

 

4 Bonnie Goes Bang – Failed to jump trailing the field by approximately 30 metres.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a near wrist sprain and was stood down for a period of 10 days.  Stewards deemed the performance of the greyhound to be unsatisfactory and acting under the provisions of GAR 71 Bonnie Goes Bang was stood down from racing until the completion of a satisfactory trial.

 

6 Blinding Lights – Checked off another runner on the turn out of the back straight.
