6 Mercurial Dancer – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

8 Zipping Boris – Went up with the lids at the start and as a result was slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground.

Race 2 - TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 1000 HEAT 2 MAIDEN 380m

2 Saint Remi – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. Checked off the heels of another runner at the top of the home straight.

3 Elarbee Leo – Very slow to begin. Clipped on the heels by another runner at the top of the home straight and became momentarily unbalanced.

7 Stolen Gold – Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn.

Race 3 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICE NOVICE 380m

1 Home Slice – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after the start and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Formula Ebby – Slow to begin.

6 Karaoke Queen – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

7 Secret Hustle – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

9 Frankie’s Vision – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed a minor laceration to the off-fore paw. No stand down time was given by the on-course veterinarian.

Race 4 - HUNNY POT NQ MIXED 3/4 498m

1 On The Fence – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after entering the back straight and lost ground.

2 No Regrets – Slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after entering the back straight and lost ground.

7 Miss Verity – Raced wide in the home straight.

8 Hidden Fury – Checked off the heels of another runner shortly after entering the back straight and lost ground.

Race 5 - CLEVELAND BAY SEAFOOD MIXED 3/4 380m

2 Blackpool May – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination that revealed injuries to both wrists and was stood down from racing for 10 days.
