Race 1 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

4 Yellow Car – Lost considerable ground approaching the first turn when appeared to have sustained an injury. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 2 - FIT EMPIRE GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

7 Red Car – Clipped the heels of another runner and fell approaching the first turn, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 3 - POSTMAN'S RIDGE GREYHOUND GRADE 5 (3) 380m

4 Hidden Torpedo – Checked off heels rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Caviar – Checked off heels shortly after the start. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the home turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the nearside hind foot and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
