General: Race 11: Due to a fallen runner running back towards the field the lure was pulled up in the catching pen in this event.

Race 1 - BROOK HEATH MAIDEN (1) 380m

2 Indigo Balt – Late scratching on 08/03/2024 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

8 Lyn’s Watching – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a nearside hind toe, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 2 - V & M DRILLING MAIDEN (2) 380m

3 Mr Sapphire – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - PREH WE WIN RACING NOVICE (1) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - PREH WE WIN RACING NOVICE (1) 380m

1 Bodhi – Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. G. Olsen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1^st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS NOVICE (2) 380m

7 Queen’s Wharf – (Beaten favourite) Very slow to begin. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES NOVICE (3) 380m

8 Deck Franky – Dragged down by another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a nearside fore toe, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

Race 7 - SHELLY DENNIS 3/4 GRADE HEAT 1 MIXED 3/4 380m

4 Sandave Richie – Checked heavily off another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a nearside hind toe, under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

5 Urana Lot – Checked heavily off another runner rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 8 - WOOLER RACING 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

8 Harlem Shuffle – A post-race veterinary examination conducted at the trainer’s request revealed no significant findings.

9 Spin Baron (5) – Checked exiting the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - PUG WASH PAINTING 3/4 GRADE HEAT 2 MIXED 3/4 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 10 - TAB MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 380m

5 Marley Emgrand – Extremely slow to begin.

Race 11 - KB SEAFOOD COMPANY GRADE 5 (2) 380m

Due to a fallen runner running back towards the field the lure was pulled up in the catching pen in this event.

1 Grinch – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked against the running rail and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Moustache Mick – Severely checked by the fallen runner and became extremely unbalanced. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

8 Mini Coin Babe – Severely checked by the fallen runner, became extremely unbalanced and made contact with the outside rail padding. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 12 - SKY RACING MA5 380m

1 Barefoot Di – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
