Race 2 - CAIRNS GREYHOUND OWNERS AND TRAINERS MAIDEN (2) 380m

1 Ambrosia – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. T. Gaiardo regarding Ambrosia’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

2 Showtime Piper – Bumped and checked shortly after the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 3 - B & M DRILLING NOVICE (1) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - LOUISE PARTLAND PHOTOGRAPHY NOVICE (2) 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 5 - LOUNDS FRESH SEAFOOD PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m

2 Oscar Esther – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an insignificant scratch to the nearside hindleg, no stand down time issued.

3 Master Elite – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn, lost ground and was checked again by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 6 - TGBOTA MIXED 4/5 380m

3 Trip’s Memory – Tightened for racing room approaching the first turn and was checked and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Showtime Poppet – (Beaten favourite) Bumped heavily by another runner shortly after the start. Unable to obtain clear running in the back straight. Checked approaching the first turn. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 7 - HEATH ARDLE MIXED 3/4 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 3/4 GRADE FINAL MIXED 3/4 380m

1 Awesome Oscar – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Put in an awkward stride rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 9 - TRIBUTE TO THE LATE BRIAN PATRICK CONNELLY PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 10 - ALL RUMOUR KENNELS PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 380m

7 Mini Coin Babe – Late scratching at 11:04am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to illness, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nominations will be accepted.

Race 11 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 380m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 12 - TAB MA5 380m

6 Malligan Bale – Commenced to lose ground in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
