Race 1 - ETHAN MALONEY NOV/M 498m

 

1 Mercurial Dancer – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin. Checked off heels rounding the turn off the back straight.

 

Race 2 - B & M DRILLING 5PW 498m

 

6 Hidden Torpedo – Slipped on the mat at box rise. Commenced to lose ground when racing in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards requested that trainer Mr Graham Thomson reports back any abnormalities over the next few days should any arise with the greyhound. Mr Thomson stated to Stewards that he will consider Hidden Torpedo’s racing future after tonight’s run.

Race 5 - EASTER TROPHY HEAT 1 OPEN 380m

 

2 Grinch – Checked approaching the first turn, losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - HEATH ARDLE GRADE 4 380m

 

5 Come On Darcy – Took evasive action to avoid the fallen runner rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the near-hind leg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

8 Awesome Oscar – Clipped heels rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MIXED 4/5 380m

 

4 Penny Girl – Severely checked shortly after the start and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 11 – TGBOTA GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

1 Stand Easy – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin.

 

3 Aurora Damiro – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the off-hind foot. No stand down time was given by the on-course veterinarian.

 

Race 12 - ALL RUMOUR KENNELS GRADE 5 (2) 380m
