General: Prior to race 1, all races were pushed back one timeslot to allow for remedial work to be conducted on the running rail.

Race 1 - TAB MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 380m

 

7 Zig Zag Zip – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 2 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 380m

 

3 Ambrosia – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 3 -ALL RUMOUR KENNELS MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 380m

 

This event finished as a follow on lure in the catching pen due to the fallen runners returning towards the 380m starting boxes.

 

1 Boom Baby Boom – Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

6 Showtime Morris – Severely checked by the fallen runner rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

9 Flighty Kroes – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

4 Awesome Oscar – Faltered in its action approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
