General: Following complaints received by the club president and track manager about the suitability of the racing surface, Stewards acceded to a request from the club committee members to inspect the track between races 6 and 7. After inspection the Stewards deemed the racing surface suitable to continue. |

8 Stappen On Tap – Made contact with the running rail rounding the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the left hind and an injury to the left triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

2 Back Again – (Beaten favourite) Checked shortly after the start. When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance tonight, trainer Mr. S. Scott advised the greyhound prefers an outside draw however conceded that the greyhound did not perform to expectations tonight, stating that it is his intention to give the greyhound a short break from racing.
5 My Magic Man – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the left triceps and left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

Prior to the all clear signal being given Stewards reviewed the available replay footage in relation to the distance of the lure from the leading greyhound into and rounding the first turn. After review, Stewards were satisfied that the outcome of the event was not affected by the positioning of the lure and subsequently gave the all clear on the Judges semaphored placings.

4 Inevitable – Severely checked in the back straight and lost ground. Gave ground approaching the finish line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

6 Drink Shiraz – Improved onto the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right pencil muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
