Race 1 - ESSERY RACING MAIDEN (1) 380m

 

3 Go The Blues – Became awkward in its action entering the first turn. Tightened for racing room rounding the first turn and checked off the heels of another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left hind foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 2 - FUEL PT TRAINING SOLUTIONS MAIDEN (2) 380m

 

3 Yabulu Miss – Late scratching at 11:11am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have lacerations to the chest and back during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 3 - POSTMAN'S RIDGE GREYHOUNDS GRADE 6 (1) 380m

 

8 Big Bubba Gump – Was found to be lame on leaving the race day kennels. A veterinary examination revealed an injury to a left hind toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 4 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

2 Ring Ring – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the tail, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 5 - KOOPA OLSEN GRADE 6 (3) 380m

 

1 Super Pickle – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising on the left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

4 Little Chatter – Severely checked by another runner and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 6 - CHEAPA AUTO SPARES 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 7 - AUSSIE PET & ANIMAL TRAVEL 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

 

7 Aston Elisha – (Beaten favourite) Checked shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn.

 

 

Race 8 - ETHAN MALONEY PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 380m

 

1 At The Roxy – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin.

 

2 Golden Snitch – Fell in the catching pen after the event had concluded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

4 Helsinki Rico – Gave ground from the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a right hind toe, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days. When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance trainer Mr. G. Olsen advised that the strapping applied to the wrists of the greyhound had slipped down in running which impeded the greyhound’s movement, this was confirmed by the veterinarian on examination.

 

 

Race 9 - KEYFLO PACIFIC PTY LTD 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

 

2 Half Day Hero – A post-race veterinary examination conducted at the trainer’s request revealed minor lacerations and bruising to all legs, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 10 - GARBUTT NEWS & POST OFFICE 0-3 WINS 498m

 

The lure failed to trigger the starting boxes for this event. All runners underwent a veterinary examination at the boxes and were passed fit to start. The boxes were tested manually and with the lure, subsequently the field was re-loaded and the race was started without further issue.

 

 

Race 11 – MPL REFRIGERATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 380m

 

This event started approximately 5 minutes late due to the previous race being held up.

 

 

Race 12 - NQ MARINA SEAFOOD 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.
