Race 1 - GARBUTT SELF SERVICE STORE MDNPW 380m  

 

4 Brugal House – Lost contact with the field rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the right hind foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 2 - JASON BOLWELL GREYHOUNDS MAIDEN 380m  

 

1 Tilly’s Rocket – Lost ground from the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the left front pad, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 3 - BILLY RUDD GRADE 6 (1) 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 4 - IN MEMORY OF JOHN STRACHIN GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

1 Harkle Road – Raced wide into the home turn, hampering a runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to both right legs with no stand down time issued. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. M. Partland regarding the greyhounds action when rounding the home turn, after considering all available evidence stewards noted it as a racing incident.

 

 

Race 5 - AUSSIE PET & ANIMAL TRAVEL 0-2 WINS (1) 498m

 

6 Big Kelce – Trainer Mr. C. Wilcox was reprimanded pursuant to GAR99 for failing to ensure a catcher was present for this greyhound post-race.

 

 

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES 0-2 WINS (2) 498m

 

7 Little Chatter – Bumped and raced extremely wide out of the first turn, making contact with the outside barrier wall. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

 

 

Race 7 - ALUMINIUM INDUSTRIES AUSTRALIA PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m

 

4 Apple Pie Girl – Checked off another runner exiting the first turn. Bumped in the home straight and lost ground sharply. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

 

 

Race 8 - ALAN OLSEN 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 9 - ALAN OLSEN 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

 

2 Miss Moose – Made contact with the catching pen gate at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Tommy From Mars – Checked exiting the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 10 - LORRAINE HEATH PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 11 – GIANTS SEAFOOD PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 380m

 

6 Oscar Tommy – When asked to comment on the performance trainer Mr. J. Reid stated that the greyhound benefitted from clear running in the back straight and when leading from the first turn avoided interference.

 

 

Race 12 - GIANTS SEAFOOD PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 380m
