Race 1 – I.M.S ELECTRICAL MAIDEN (1) 380m

 

Race 1 was declared a No Race due to the positioning of the lure in the back straight. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR 109(3) declared the event a No Race.

 

 

Race 2 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES MAIDEN (2) 380m

 

2 Yabulu Miss – Checked rounding the first turn and lost ground. Finished well back. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 3 – CHRIS SCIFLEET GRADE 6 (1) 380m

 

5 Bella Blossom – Bumped in the back straight. Checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. Made the home turn very wide while easing and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the left front foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. P. Milani regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury – 5 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

Race 4 – COREY HEATH GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 5 – ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 0-3 WINS 498m

 

6 Gas It Up – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

5 Kelmar Indi – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the right hind foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 7 - T.G.B.O.T.A GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

5 Fawn Outlaw – Checked rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

9 Federal Gold (2) – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn and was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left foreleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 8 - PREH WE WIN RACING PATHWAYS FINAL 5PW 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 9 - PARKSIDE MEATS GRADE 5 (3) 380m

 

7 Woodland Oscar – Put in an awkward stride on entering the home straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a bilateral wrist injury, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 10 - NQ MARINA SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (4) 380m

Race 11 - STARLINE EXPRESS AT STUD GRADE 5 (5) 380m
