General: After the lure failed in race 1 the remainder of the meeting was delayed for remedial work to be undertaken. Track maintenance staff could not rectify the issue; therefore, the remainder of the race meeting was abandoned at 8:15pm.

Race 1 - JEFF LYNCH GRADE 4 (1) 380m

 

Due to a malfunction with the lure the greyhounds caught the lure shortly after the start in the back straight. Subsequently stewards declared this event a “No Race” in accordance with GAR 110(1).

 

1. Molly Emgrand – Approaching the 1st turn collided with another runner falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside front wrist. A 5 day stand down was imposed.
