2 Norma’s Pride – Checked off another runner approaching the first turn. Put in an awkward stride exiting the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 - ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 6PW 380m |
|

|
1 Natural Tony – Raced wide rounding the home turn and eased and forced another runner wide. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Ms. Rhonda Essery regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Fail to pursue by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Cash Manager – Late scratching at 11:39am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left hock during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days.
