Race 1 - I.M.S ELECTRICAL MDNPW 380m

 

2 Hara’s Collar – (Beaten favourite) Appeared awkward in its action throughout the event. Lost contact with the field rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance, Ms. H. Wooler stated that the run today was disappointing and is of the opinion that having trialled on Wednesday 23/07, the greyhound did not back up for today’s event. Ms Wooler further stated that her kennel did not support the runner in wagering.

 

 

Race 2 - CHEAPA AUTO SPARES MAIDEN 380m

1 Zero Limerick – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Checked shortly after the start. Hampered by another runner exiting the second turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 6 - BURDEKIN VET SERVICES PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m

Race 7 -T.G.B.O.T.A PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 380m

Race 8 - T.G.B.O.T.A PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 380m

 

Following the running of this race Stewards inspected an area of the track around the first turn and deemed it suitable to continue racing.

 

5 Lots Of Bugs – Faltered in its action in free running when exiting the first turn. Checked rounding the home turn and became unbalanced. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hindleg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

 

 

Race 9 - PARKSIDE MEATS PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 380m

Race 10 -NQ MARINA SEAFOOD PATHWAYS HEAT 4 5PW 380m  

 

8 Denim – Became awkward in its action entering the first turn and conceded significant ground. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right groin muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

 

 

Race 11 –STARLINE EXPRESS AT STUD PATHWAYS HEAT 5 5PW 380m  

 

2 Tommy From Mars – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

5 Final Storm – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the right fore foot, no stand down time issued.
