3 Big Bubba Gump – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the greyhound to have a poor post-race recovery rate, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

1 Me Myself And – (Beaten favourite) Bumped shortly after the start. Checked and forced wide rounding the first turn.

7 Mini Coin Babe – Checked rounding the first turn. Found to be lame in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a suspected ligament injury to the right hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

2 Gene’s Boy – Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. R. Essery regarding the greyhound’s improved performance. Ms. Essery stated that she was pleased with the run today, noting Gene’s Boy was having its first start back from a minor injury today and that the greyhound has been working well in the lead-up to today’s event. Ms. Essery advised she had a minor each-way wager on the greyhound.

6 Move Lightly – Severely checked rounding the first turn, became unbalanced and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Isinbayeva – Checked shortly after the start and lost ground. Trailed the field throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a bilateral hip support injury, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.
