Race 3 - PATRICK DANIELS OPEN 498m

Stewards delayed the All Clear to review the race replay in relation to the distance of the lure throughout the event. In the back straight, Stewards identified the distance of the lure was inside 5-metres as provisioned under GAR109(1), further when leaving the back straight and rounding the turn out of the back straight, the lure distance exceeded 8-metres as provisioned under GAR109(1). After carefully reviewing all available angles and their live observations, Stewards were of the opinion that the outcome of the event had been affected by the positioning of the lure and therefore, acting under the provisions of GAR109(3), declared the event a No Race.
