4 Go Forward Cathy – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
7 No More Parcels – In the back straight, turned its head inwards towards another runner and made muzzle contact with that runner. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. B. Belford regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

5 Hara’s Scarlet – Checked rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
8 Explosive Balboa – Checked rounding the first turn, became extremely unbalanced and made contact with the outside barrier padding. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

6 Canya Revamp – Tightened for racing room entering the first turn and was checked, losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

2 Maddie Dutton – Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. J. Reid regarding the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Reid stated that it is his intention to retire Maddie Dutton.

5 Jackknifed – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion under the eye, no stand down time was issued.
7 Lyn’s Watching – Checked rounding the first turn and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
